    - What's included

In HV systems, cables and connectors play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and safe operation. This course is focusing to explain how insulation thickness, screening, and other design considerations impact the performance of HV cables and connectors.

Our team will provide training with the knowledge and skills you need to confidently understand cables and connectors in HV system.

aerospaceHV have established state-of-the-art lab space incorporating test capabilities that allow us to explore cables and connectors testing in HV systems.

    Interactive video

Allow learners to visualise and engage with real-world scenarios, understanding how the future trends and technologies can improve the reliability of HV systems, particularly for cables and connectors in the electric transportation.

    Assessments - Exams

Ensuring that learners can accurately apply their knowledge to analyse and solve issues like PD risks or insulation breakdown in cables or connectors.

    Instructor- Prof. Ian Cotton

Ian is the Technical Director of aerospaceHV. He has vast experience in the development of safe high voltage systems for use in aerospace applications having been involved in design and test work for systems used on the Boeing 787, Airbus A350 and the E Fan X project that targeted a 3kV operating voltage. He is a member of SAE and ASD standards committees that are developing the next generation of high voltage standards.
